Where do I really belong..
This is what winning must feel like.
Didn’t know if I had the strenght,
But wanted to break free.
Hopes, desires, yearnings,
Confusions, confessions.
Wanting my place,in the unknown deeper corners.
Difficult path to tread upon,
No doubt.
But then simple, life has never been.
Faith in my convictions,
Fighting one odd against another.
Step by step,
I come closer to my goal.
My happiness knows no bound,
This is what winning must feel like.
I come face to face,
With those very unknown corners
that I have yearned for so long.
Only to see another,beat me
To the very place that I belong.

Edu, the last two posts and this one are sixers out of the stadium. Good stuff.
Who’s it that makes you write these poems? I bet, there’s someone (or many) who pisses you off and then you come out with beauties like these? Whoever they are, tell them my hi. Love them. They make a poet out of Edu, haha.
Seriously, this is authentic stuff. Keep it coming.

Discovered your blog through Bharani’s. Very impressive writing skills you have. Probably you should start thinking of writing a book, prose or poetry..either will do.

See, i read this article http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20060410/cm_csm/yprice;_ylt=AoEVfIdqKkCCABj_eY4q0l_9wxIF;_ylu=X3oDMTA5aHJvMDdwBHNlYwN5bmNhdA–
and then i feel tht winning isnt important at all, desiring stuffs isnt right, going after ‘material goals–the ones society brandished as great isnt it, but personal happiness is. I suppose i have a luxurious life in comparison and hence my mind desires more and keeps straying from simple life. Simple is too complicated. It would be horrible too to call the life of these ppl simple and yet…
simple is difficult eh?
i say stop… i am confusing myself
hey come up with a male bashing saga again! wat’s with you and posting dunno what poems!!

There is really no option except to keep fighting . You may lose a couple of battles, but at least you will have the satisfaction of having fought well
I too am kind of back after a break, have been busy fighting some battles of my own:-)
May the Force be with you.
